We didn't call her Sierra for nothing

Anna's climbing adventures

\
Anna's climbing adventures started out early. Here she is climbing a miniboulder problem in our living room. At ten days old we went to the teton's for a family reunion. She wasn't ready for the real rock yet and so she is snuggling with me under the blanket. (upper left)

At about two months old we went on a little climbing trip to Echo Canyon. We found a little cave for Anna to hang out under while we climbed. And here is a pic of her first base of climb diaper change.... wahoo?

Sometime after that, mid september we headed up to Pocotello for our new favorite yearly tradition..... the Pocotello Pump! Great climbing competion. With teh help of our dear pocotello friends, the Fry's I was able compete while they watched Anna for us.  :)

And here we are athe Hill Airforce Base climbing wall..... a little free fun.

The two picture below are from our first big trip to Moab. Anna was about 2.5 months. She napped in the back seat and we found out how to successfully camp in the back of the 4runner with a baby. (I used to think there wasn't much room back there too!)

Then we ventured to Indian Creek this past weekend with several of our pals. looking at Anna's outfits I think you can tell it was pretty chilly. We lasted one night in the 4runner and the next night we chacked into a hotel. Chilly! But it was fanatastic..... Anna successfully took 2-4 hour naps at the base of climbs. I would so If I was as bundled up as she was.

I love that you guys aren't letting the baby slow you down one bit! :) And I especially love that you're bringing her with you and not just getting a sitter every time. You're a great mama.
